Many people have been asking about the Section Championship Match; particularly when will registration open and are there staff positions available. Here’s what we can tell you at this point.
We’re working toward opening online registration via Practiscore on January 1st. There are still some issues we need to resolve, but I think we’re going to meet that date.
We’re planning for 10 stages, plus a chronograph stage, so we will need 11 Chief Range Officers (CROs) and 22 Range Officers (ROs). If you are interested in filling one of those staff positions, please send an email to r_elder@verizon.net with your name, address, NROI certification level, and the position(s) you’re interested in filling. Although NROI certification is preferred, there will likely be positions available if you are not certified.
Working matches requires a commitment of time and effort, so we’re offering the following staff incentive package. The incentives are based on working all of the Saturday and Sunday sessions and may be modified to fill all positions.
• Staff/pre-match on Friday, July 24 and those scores will be included in the match results.
• 100% off match fee.
• 1 custom crew neck staff/match shirt.
• 1 participant match shirt.
• Lunch will be provided for the Friday pre-match and the Saturday/Sunday match days.
• A $60 per night allowance is available if it is more than a 60 minute drive from your home to the club.
• Staff recognition dinner following the Saturday match.
• Staff recognition prize drawing.
